Caroline House
We are replatforming their site to WordPress
The Caroline House website is built in-house using Square Space. They felt the site did not provide the dynamic kind of user experience that website visitors now expect and chose us to rebuild using WordPress.
The project involves developing a new style guide to better complement the company logo and improving the information architecture identifying opportunities for additional content.
Improvement of the overall user experience is key.

New Voters
We are replatforming their site from WIX to WordPress
Wix has a limit on the number of static pages which was impacting their growth in terms of high school voter registration landing pages, hence the switch to WordPress.
It is important the new site can handle the current school voter registration URLs redirecting them to their new equivalent.
In addition there is new functionality to allow high school leader to get a report of student registration for their school.

Unarius Academy of Science
We are replatforming their site to WordPress
The original Unarius site was built using CMS Made Simple and osCommerce with a separate WordPress blog for news. Given the information intensiveness of the site, which we like to call Tell then Sell, we opted to rebuild the site using WordPress and WooCommerce.
The project involved rebuilding their CMS pages in WordPress and importing blog posts from an older WordPress installation. Installing WooCommerce, replicating the osCommerce custom membership function with various WordPress/WooCommerce plugins and importing data from osCommerce using our propriety data conversion too.
Improvement of the overall user experience was key.

Father McKenna Center
We recently rebuilt the FMC site to provide a better UX/UI in terms of a more engaging design, better information architecture and clearer calls to action to make the site work harder for their cause.
The Father McKenna Center were already WordPress users when we undertook to redevelop their site. After reviewing the existing site, we recommended a complete rebuild to increase engagement through better use of existing assets, improve information architecture to streamline access to content, and generally reduce the burden in regard to content management.
The existing site menu setup proved a barrier to accessing information. In addition it was not clear from the content what was static content versus time based (news). The site site addresses both these issues with a more comprehensive menu and clear news section.

LegalLink
Legal Link offers free online tools, written resources, and referrals for organizations in the California Bay Area so that they can more effectively work with families in moments of crisis, trust, and transformation.
The original site used a custom theme built around the Resource Search tools. Over time this made changing informational content and layouts by the end user difficult. An attempt to add a page manger unwittingly introduced code conflicts with the search tool operation. To mitigate ongoing code issues, while allowing freedom in terms of page content and layout, we split the site into two separate WordPress instances: one instance presenting business content and a second instance being a cut-down version of the original site to manage the resource search tools. This way the investment in the search tools is fully protected.

ACT For Women and Girls
Our most recent project was for ACT for Women and Girls, a non-profit in Visalia, California with a focus on engaging women of all ages in leadership opportunities to promote social and personal change. They have been in operation for over 10 year and want to update the current site switching to a more user friendly platform that will allow them to update the content themselves.
